WIFI will be presenting at the Pac-West Summer Dinner & Vendor Showcase on June 23rd. Visit Pac-West for details.

 

WIFI is excited to present a stellar talk for our 6th annual Speakers Series & Networking Event at the NIFMS Expo in Vegas in October.

"Cognitive Diversity and Creative Problem Solving: Innovation and Solutions from Out-of-the-Box Thinking."

The WIFI Board will hold an open meeting before the event at 2 o'clock. Please make plans to join us and help WIFI grow and plan for future events.

 

New Board Members & Committees

The WIFI Board welcomes Carrie King, president and owner of Edsco Fasteners. Carrie brings a wealth of talent and experience to the board. Cris Young of Hudson Fasteners is the president of the WIFI Board for 2015. Returning board members are Mary "Lou" Aderman, Pam Berry, Nancy Rich and Suzy Cravens and Rosa Hearn, who will represent WIFI at the Fastener Training Institute. 

 

Committes and chairs are: Membership - Nancy Rich, Rosa Hearn; Scholarship - Cris Young; Mentoring - Mary Lou Aderman; Communications - Pam Berry; Events - Suzy Cravens.

Women in the Fastener Industry presents

“Cognitive Diversity and Creative Problem Solving: Innovation and Solutions From Out-of-Box Thinking”

Oct 21st, 3-5pm

 

Featuring Tom Payne, president of Essential Growth Solutions, a management consultancy focused on implementing sales, marketing and training programs that are aligned with human nature. 

Tom will focus on how individuals and companies can gain the creative edge by working with diverse teams who bring mix skill sets and ideas to the table. Creative solutions and innovations follow when out-of-box thinking is implemented. 

 

This event is open to women and men who want to break out of their mental boxes, and who want to find ways to bring creativity and diversity into their workplace and everyday lives.

 

WIFI will also hold a raffle to support scholarships, and a networking event. 

Bring your business cards and get ready to be inspired, entertained and energized while meeting colleagues in the industry.

Non-members: $40
