Sara Vasicek has been in the fastener industry for over 26 years, currently as Regional Sales Manager at Advance Components.  The people and the opportunity to continually learn new things are what has kept her in the industry all these years.  As a previous board member of WIFI, Sara is gratified to see how the organization has evolved and grown, and how it continues to be a positive place for women in our industry.

Sara manages Advance’s Midwest accounts and is based in the Chicago area.  When she’s not working, she spends her time tutoring with Literacy Volunteers of Illinois, visiting her daughter who is a grad student, and walking in the woods with her husband and their dog.
