Who We Are

Aramid Technologies is a Phoenix-based startup that is helping businesses automate the paperwork process involved with buying and selling products in global supply chains like aerospace, automotive, medical and electronics. 


We launched our flagship product, SmartCert® in 2021 and immediately started attracting customers. In January 2022, we received a $2M venture capital investment. We are now ramping up our team to take Aramid and SmartCert to the next level.

Microsoft Azure Developer - Remote

Who We Need
As our Microsoft Azure Developer, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment phases of the software development lifecycle.

You will report directly to the Product Manager and Chief Customer Officer on user feedback and priorities.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop solution artifacts per technical and functional requirements

  • Contribute key input to agile sprint cycles and quality reviews

  • Create test plans and scripts as required for unit, integration, and system tests

  • Perform codebase maintenance and quality checks

  • Originate and maintain solution documentation

  • Contribute to practice development through consistent Azure platform learning

What You Bring To The Table

  • Minimum 3 years of development experience is required, including but not limited to:

  • Azure App Services

  • Azure Service Bus

  • Azure Web/API Apps

  • .NET Core, C#, RESTful APIs

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise software development using .NET stack, including REST APIs, web applications, and distributed systems

  • 5+ years of experience delivering solutions using enterprise design patterns like MVC, CQRS, SOLID principles, and MVC architecture

  • 3+ years’ experience in SQL Server development

  • Working knowledge of UI frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Kendo UI, DevExpress, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of security best practices (e.g. OWASP)

  • Experience in NoSQL data stores development

Sales Development Representative – Hybrid (Gilbert, AZ) or Remote

Who We Need

We are seeking an experienced sales development representative (SDR) to find and qualify potential customers. As the first contact, you will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, initiating relationships, and transitioning them to sales.

You will be well organized, engaging, and possess outstanding communication skills. You will be a digital native, able to easily navigate MS Office, LinkedIn, virtual conferencing, HubSpot, Teams, Slack, and easily learn new applications. Finally, and most importantly, you must have confidence, great phone skills and be able to thoughtfully address potential customer needs in real time.

As part of the sales team, you will serve as the main point of contact for leads, working closely with marketing, product, and technology and promoting a customer centric culture. You will be responsible for outreach, follow up calls, scoring leads, and setting appointments for discovery calls and demos. As
you excel at the SDR job you will be eligible for promotion to higher levels and Account Executive.

What You'll Do

  • Represent Aramid and SmartCert with potential customers, conveying the value of adopting SmartCert

  • Learn the problems that SmartCert solves and the type of companies that have those problems

  • Learn the personas, or people, who are typically involved with purchasing SmartCert so you can identify their specific interests and understand how SmartCert addresses them

  • Use LinkedIn, Google and other tools to research prospects and prepare for calls

  • Use HubSpot, cold-calling and email to engage with prospects and track metrics

  • Establish rapport with prospects, evaluate the opportunity using lead scoring, and determine next steps

  • For prospects that are a good fit, you will schedule discovery calls and product demos

  • Personally track and report monthly targets for sales activities and scheduled discovery calls

  • Actively seek new opportunities and referrals from prospects and customers

  • Share your recommendations to improve the sales, customer success, and marketing playbook

What You Bring To The Table

  • Demonstrated success in prior SDR role, ideally in a SaaS or subscription product in a startup

  • Ability to quickly qualify leads via multiple methods and prioritize your time

  • Excellent teamwork skills

  • Outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal, creativity and a passion for learning
    and continually improving

  • Proven ability to engage with management level prospects and get through gatekeepers

  • Delight in problem-solving and helping prospects solve their problems

  • Strong organization skills regarding feedback, needs and overcoming concerns and sales

  • Ability to productively use MS Office, virtual conferencing, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Teams, Slack,
    CRMs and easily learn new applications

Additional Information:

  • Remote. It would be a benefit if a candidate lived in the Phoenix area and could work hybrid.

  • You must reside in the USA
