What WIFI Member's Need to Know for the 2017 International Fastener Expo
Mark your calendars for this year’s International Fastener Expo 2017 on Tuesday, October 17th-19th at the Las Vegas Convention Center (International Arena).
This is such an important event for our members and prospective members. Make a plan now for what you want to accomplish at the Trade Show. Here are a few ideas:
●Use the Trade Show as a recruiting tool and invite your fellow fastener friends and vendor friends that aren’t yet members to attend the WIFI event with you in room N109.
●WIFI will also have a booth set up #1177 with staff that can talk to your friends about the importance of membership. Let us know if you would like to make an appointment so that you can introduce your friends to the WIFI board of directors.
●Use the Trade Show to meet new vendors (preferably our SPONSORED vendors) and say hello to the vendors you currently work with. This year we recruited sponsors with new, cutting-edge products to help you up your game. Check our website for our featured sponsors to see who’s going to have a booth and select the interesting ones for your first few stops.
●Use the Trade Show to educate yourself on important issues. WIFI makes sure that it schedules speakers for topics that will be of great importance to our WIFI members. Review the speakers and topics ahead of time so that you won’t be late for their scheduled talks. Remember to register for “Working with the World” with Lanie Denslow. T-shirts will be on sales as well as great raffle prizes.
●Attend the WIFI’s annual members meeting. Every year WIFI discusses what happened in the current year and the plans for the future. Get to meet the new board members for 2018 and the companies that they work for. The meeting will have food and drinks and is open to all fastener women members and non-members who are interested in knowing who the WIFI sisters are in our industry and want to use this great opportunity to do some networking. Make time for the annual meeting today!
